2AM was a South Korean ballad group formed by JYP Entertainment in 2008. The group was notable for being one of the two subgroups branched from the reality competition show "Hot Blood Men," the other being the performance-focused group 2PM. 2AM specialized in ballads and vocal performance, setting them apart from the more dance-oriented groups prevalent at the time.
